Apple is expected to announce its iPhone 15 lineup in September 2023. A few days ago, the CAD renders of the phone were revealed.
This morning, a Weibo blogger revealed a live image of the glass panels of the iPhone 15 series. In the photo, the first glass panel is for the iPhone 15, the second is for the iPhone 15 Pro, and the last one is for the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
According to the blogger, the width of the latter two bezels has been further narrowed to 1.5mm (reported by Ice Universe), and all four sides are now equal in width.
The blogger also mentioned that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will still be limited to a 60Hz refresh rate display and lack the AOD (Always-On Display) feature.
However, the glass panel images revealed that Apple has also used a Dynamic Island display on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus this year. Apple is likely to stick with the Apple A16 Bionic chipset on its iPhone 15, while the iPhone 15 Pro will come with the Apple A17 chipset.
Rumors also suggest that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will feature a titanium alloy frame for the first time instead of stainless steel. The physical buttons will be replaced by virtual buttons that support Haptic Touch, just like the 3D Home Button.
The Apple iPhone 15 series is expected to be released in September this year.
